This post is a bit of diversion from my usual build muscle and burn fat posts…
Usain Bolt is a streak of lightning – literally. The fastest human that has ever set foot on the face of the earth. Period. Fastest. Man. Ever.
And he likes to have fun. Some may interpret it as cockiness or arrogance. Some may call pounding your chest as you cross the finish line (under world record time, and well ahead of his fellow competitors) as a form of “trash” talk.
I think he is a breath of fresh air and entertaining. Love him or hate him, you will likely want to watch him again and exactly what a sport besieged by doping scandals needs to get back to the forefront of the sports world.
Today, the head of the IOC decided to condemn Usain Bolt for his enthusiasm.
As this article points out, he chose not to condemn China for bending the truth to get the Olymics in the first place, but rather chose to focus his attention on the island nation of Jamaica and its biggest star.
A wise man once told me, “It’s not talking trash if you can back it up.”
Usain can back his up. Can the IOC and China back up theirs?
